Learn To Design Networks

Our program stresses the importance of system administrator training. This gives CBC graduates an edge in finding jobs with businesses and organizations with IT infrastructures.  CBC is one of the few colleges that teaches its students how to actually design networks. This skill is extremely beneficial to small companies who typically rely on their network engineers to take on this responsibility. Small companies make up 90% of business in North America, most of whom require the services of Network Engineers.

Network Engineering Career Outlook

Network engineers are in high demand because their unique skill sets are increasingly important in the Internet age. Companies that are expanding their IT departments need more qualified network engineers to tackle internet and data security, maintain the integrity of their networks and ensure the safety of their communications and information technology infrastructure.

According to Service Canada, the job outlook for Network Engineers is good. Engineers Canada’s labour market study reports that Network Engineers will continue to be in strong demand this decade.  Individuals with a strong aptitude in math and problem solving, and a strong interest in IT are excellent candidates for CBC’s Network Engineering Program.
