Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP)

Financial assistance may be available for students who qualify.  For information, visit www.osap.gov.on.ca

Second Career and Employment Ontario

Second Career provides Ontario laid-off workers with skills training to help them find jobs in high-demand occupations.   Second Career is a cost-sharing grant program administered by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) and is provided on the basis of need, so you may be asked to contribute what you can to your training or education. For more information, on this or other MTCU managed programs visit www.edu.gov.on.ca/eng/tcu/ or call 1-800-387-5656.

Lines of Credit

CBC students may apply for private student lines of credit from financial institutions to finance post-secondary education.  To apply, visit the financial institution of your choice and inquire about student financing.

Non-Ontario Residents

Non-Ontario residents, must apply to the province in which they qualify for residency status in order to access any federal and provincial loan programs.  For a list of provincial offices, please visit the Government of Canada CanLearn website at: www.canlearn.ca/eng/main/help/contact/cao.shtml
